To support execution, delivery and team focus we are looking for a Product Owner who excels at translating vision into clear requirements and keeping the tech team moving. The ideal candidate is structured, masters user stories and can lead our standups.

About the role

Role:

• Product Owner

• Reporting to Co-Founder

Objective:

• Ensure efficient product delivery by translating the product vision into clear user stories, maintaining a well-groomed backlog, and facilitating day-to-day agile rituals

Scope:

• Translate the founder-defined product vision into clear user stories, assess platform impact, and own a prioritized, well-groomed backlog

• Support day-to-day delivery by facilitating stand-ups and refinement, working closely with the Tech Lead and tech team to ensure clear scope and predictable execution

Responsibilities:

• Translate the product vision and roadmap into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined, and ready

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Ensure stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready before entering a sprint

• Track progress, dependencies, and risks, and surface issues early

• Act as the primary point of contact between product, tech, and internal stakeholders

• Collect and structure feedback from users, operations, and business teams

• Ensure alignment between roadmap priorities and day-to-day execution

Experience

• 2+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in a digital product environment

• Strong experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Hands-on experience working with agile teams (Scrum or similar)

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize backlogs for tech teams

• Experience working closely with developers

• Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growing startup

Soft skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities

• Pragmatic, execution-focused mindset

• Comfortable making trade-offs within a defined product vision

• Ability to keep teams focused and delivery predictable

Nice to have:

• Experience with SaaS, platforms, marketplaces, or AI-driven products

• Basic technical understanding of web platforms

• Design skills in Figma is a BIG plus
