We are Cocoroco. Located in the heart of Amsterdam we build a trusted talent platform that connects companies with high-quality remote professionals. Through smart matching, strong vetting processes, and compliant payroll solutions, we enable companies and talent to work together quickly and reliably.

To support our strong growth, we are expanding our operations team. You will work at the heart of our organization, closely with our community manager, product team, tech team, and co-founders.

Your day is successful when candidates move forward, stay active, and perform well, and when companies find the right people without friction. You are in direct contact with platform users and continuously improve the product by translating operational feedback into concrete improvements.

Operations Specialist – Candidates (User Facing)

Objective

Ensure candidates move smoothly from registration to active work while maintaining high quality, speed, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily candidate support (rates, payroll, Deel, time tracking, contracts)

  • Drive candidates through the funnel to first start date, by calling

  • Coordinate interviews and onboarding

  • Guide candidates through assessments

  • Support new starters in their first weeks

  • Manage job offers and contracting processes

Why this role is temporary

We're upfront about it: this is surge capacity for a specific growth period, not a permanent position. The baseline is 3 to 4 months. Strong performance can lead to an extension or a permanent role, but that is not guaranteed. Apply knowing the starting point is temporary.

About you

Required

  • Strong organizational and process skills

  • Clear and professional communication

  • High attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with digital platforms

  • Strong problem-solving mindset

  • Fluent English in written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Experience with recruitment or HR operations

  • Experience with remote workforces

  • Experience with Deel or similar platforms

Experience

  • 1+ years in operations, recruitment ops, HR ops, or customer support

  • Experience in fast-paced environments
